Logo design and end-to-end UX/UI for a mobile top-up app powered by Telefónica. Designed for users in the US sending phone credit to family in Latin America.
MiTopUp is a mobile top-up platform powered by Telefónica, built for users in the US who send phone credit to family and contacts across Latin America. The main constraint was that the payment flow depended entirely on Telefónica's backend infrastructure, so we had to adapt the UX to technical limitations we couldn't modify.
Scope: logo design and full UX/UI of the mobile app in Figma. Every screen, every state, dev-ready.
We mapped the full user flow before designing any screens. International top-ups require identity verification, contact selection, carrier detection, amount selection, payment method, and confirmation. That's a lot of inputs. To reduce friction, we broke the flow into single-task screens with a step indicator (e.g. 2/4) so users always know where they are.
For the visual system, we worked within Telefónica's blue palette but gave MiTopUp its own identity. White base, card-based components, and a persistent bottom navigation with four sections: home, top-ups, promos, and profile. The goal was clarity over decoration.
The logo needed to function at app icon scale and also hold up on the splash screen. We explored several directions before landing on the final mark.
Complete app design delivered in Figma. Covers registration, login, home dashboard with promotional banners and quick-access contacts, the full top-up flow with step-by-step progression, recharge history grouped by date, a promos section, profile management, and PIN-based access security. All states included: loading, empty, error, and success.
